I agree with David. I see you as a real "hero", or I should say "heroine", here on gather. There are a few of us who have committed to this quest for civility and we will continue. I just feel bad that you have been attacked in such a vicious manner for merely wanting to bring positive change. Hang in there and don't let them get to you. And good luck with your move!

Carla - Thank you for stepping in to offer a voice of reason. The virulence of the defensive reaction to your request for civility has been shocking to me, in fact, quite disturbing. I see you being attacked personally for no other reason than you have asked for the discourse to be honest and measured. Unfortunately I can relate to the feeling as I have been on the receiving end of attacks myself. We must change. We must not continue to allow flamers to do nothing but incite. For my part, I will continue to focus on presenting factual information, and will work hard to maintain a civil discourse while doing so despite the clearly uncivil tone of others.

She is ignorant and this is a fact - she ignores the consequences of what she utters and, finally, found out that her poster was to be flunkied. Whedre am I wrong?

Dear Carla, I haven't too much time either. The companies I am economic consultant for, are looking for new investments mainly in emerging countries.
